Green Elephants ALL Around!

When I found the Carter's "Green Elephant" pattern I was in love. We knew we wanted a neutral nursery that could work for either a little boy or a little girl. After months (it seems) of decorating, it's finally finished! Enjoy!

Daniel's talented mother painted the elephants seen here ...
and she also painted the elephants that are marching across the wall! Aren't they too cute?!

That's not even all of her clothes! We've had to pack some away because they won't fit in the closet! WOAH!

Girl = Pink?

I love pink just as much as the next gal. Seriously, I do! But my baby girl's outfits, blankets, or room decor will not be limited to the color pink. First of all, we'd love to reuse decor for baby #2 and secondly, I'm a girl and I like other colors. Won't she? Just sayin'! (And yes, I do realize that my blog color scheme is pink and black ... I do still like pink. This isn't a ban against all pink, it's a welcome for other colors as well!)

Hopefully I'll have pics of the nursery (green and brown) to post soon, but for now here's a picture of the bedding and theme I chose: (Picture from BabySuperMall.com NOT our actual nursery)
